BF&M slips in quiet trading

BF&M Ltd. was the only domestic company to see its stock price change in yesterday's quiet trading session on The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX).
The insurer and pension provider slipped ten cents (0.58 percent) to close the week on $17, as 700 of its shares traded.
The only other trading activity centred on Butterfield Bank, which remained unchanged on its 52-week low of $9.50 after 1,578 of its shares changed hands.
The BSX Index closed down 1.45 points (0.05 percent) on 3,221.08. Volume of shares traded totalled 2,278 and turnover was $26,951. The Island's international insurance companies collectively had a positive end to the week, as the BSX Insurance Index climbed 5.54 points (0.66 percent) to close on 843.26.
