BF&M drops 25 cents

Shares of BF&M fell 25 cents (1.44 percent) yesterday as the company announced its third quarter earnings. BF&M announced its profit over the first nine months of the year is down 29 percent from the same period last year. Shares closed at $17 after 3,700 traded.
Butterfield Bank saw 5,120 shares trade yesterday but closed unchanged at $11.50.
Also active were Bermuda Aviation Services, which closed unchanged at $6 after 700 shares moved, and Belco Holdings which also closed flat at $16 after 200 shares changed hands.
The Bermuda Insurance Index closed at 803.20.
