A 48-year-old Southampton man was taken to hospital after his motorcycle crashed with a car in Pembroke.

Police say the accident happened at the junction of Dundonald Street and Brunswick Street, as the car travelled west and the bike east at 9.15 a.m. on Sunday.

The motorcyclist was treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, while the 33-year-old Pembroke woman driving the car was not injured. The car and motorcycle were both damaged.
