Bank of Butterfield promotes two

Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Sons Ltd has announced two senior promotions - Lloyd Wiggan to vice president, banking and Bob Wilson to senior vice president, credit.

Both the moves are part of the bank's restructuring programme which has divided up the banks operations into two separate divisions, lending and deposit taking.

This move put all lending, both corporate and private, under a single department and all credit and deposit taking functions into another department, banking.

“Both Mr. Wiggan and Mr. Wilson have been doing outstanding jobs and have for some time held responsibility at senior vice president level. These promotions are well deserved,” said Calum Johnston, president and chief executive officer of the bank.

“As lending and deposit taking are the backbone of our business, it is imperative that these areas have a voice at the senior management table.
