The annual tournament, boasting a record field of 152 teams this year, has been reduced from 72 to 54 holes with today still a rest day and the third and final rounds scheduled for tomorrow and Friday.

Craigin Curtis and T. Mitchell Hill were the first day leaders after firing a net score of 60, leaving them with a one shot advantage over Russell and Greg Cheetham, and Hugh Barit and Rick Pagnani.

Ricky Cox and Doug Clark lead the gross division after an opening round of 66, one ahead of Charles Tseckares and Will Fuller, and Robert Vallis and James Shackleton.
