Magistrate to rule on case
decision on whether there is enough evidence to commit them to Supreme Court for trial.
Businessman Herbert Alan Williams, 42, of Harbour Road, and Richard Graham Thomas, 39, of White Sands Road, were charged with cultivating and conspiring to cultivate 75 cannabis plants between an unknown date and January 18, 1994.
Thomas was also charged with possessing cannabis intended for supply and possessing cocaine on January 17, 1994, in Paget.
Williams was charged with possessing cannabis and allowing his house, at 79 Harbour Road in Paget, to be used for the production of cannabis.
Lawyers Mr. Alan Dunch, who represents Williams, and Mr. Mark Pettingill, for Thomas, elected a long form preliminary inquiry.
After extensive argument on November 21, the Wor. Cheryl Ann Mapp has reserved her decision until next month.
