All aboard the big banana!
Harbour.
The "Big Banana'' (pictured left) is the latest breathtaking attraction provided by Blue Hole Watersports and South Side Scuba.
Bought from the USA, the inflatable banana, which measures 10 feet in length, can carry four people as it is towed at high speeds behind a motorboat.
But what appears to be a simple glide through the water actually feels like a bucking bronco as the banana hits the boat's slipstream and leaps into the air.
Even staff from Blue Hole found the banana too slippery to handle as they tumbled off into the water during early demonstration runs.
Blue Hole's Mr Alan Franklin said: "We bought this from Arizona where we get our parasailing gear. It is the first one on the Island.'' SLIP SLIDIN' AWAY -- Staff at Blue Hole Watersports hold on tightly as the Big Banana splits the waves in Castle Harbour during a demonstration run.
