man from seeing his baby.

Dion Sinclair Wilson admitted using offensive words to Police officers when he was seen at the home of his ex-girlfriend, Janine Saunders, the baby's mother.

Mr. Francis conditionally discharged Wilson, 27, of Rocklands Estate, but would not place an order forbidding him seeing the child.

Over the weekend Saunders had asked Police to keep a watchful eye on her property in School Drive, Devonshire, in case Wilson paid her a visit.

Prosecuting Sgt. Kenrick James said: "They had been experiencing domestic problems while living together. The lady had returned to live with her mother.

"She reported that Wilson had threatened to kill both himself and the baby if she ever threatened to take the child away from him.

"On Sunday she took the baby from his sister's house and asked the Police to pay her house some attention because she feared he would carry out the threats he had made.'' Police saw Wilson in the grounds of the property and asked him why he was there. Sgt. James said that at first he swore at them saying he did not want to leave. When a taxi arrived to pick him up he again swore saying that he would return when the officers had left the premises. He was arrested.

Wilson said that he had been babysitting since the previous Friday and that Saunders had taken the baby from his sister's home without telling him.

He said: "I went to her mother's house to see what was happening. I just wanted to see my daughter to see if she was all right.

"I do not know about half of what has been said today. I do not know what they were saying about my daughter and suicide and all that.''
