traffic disruption on Crow Lane from today.

The Ministry of Works and Engineering said the work would include repairs to the asphalt surface at the junction of The Lane and Crow Lane roundabout. The work, which will be carried out from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., is expected to disrupt the flow of traffic travelling into Hamilton from Harbour Road.

Traffic travelling from the west is advised to detour to the Middle Road in order to avoid delays.

Advance warning signs and other safety measures will be used to ensure that the motoring public are made aware of the work. But a Ministry spokesman said motorists would be advised to use extreme caution when travelling along that section of road during the hours that the work will be in progress.
