Bermuda Cablevision to offer Nickelodeon
teamed up to supply the network to local subscribers.
Cablevision's new general manager Carl Musson and Adeline Delgado, regional director for affiliate sales of MTV Networks in Latin America, made the announcement to the media yesterday.
"We are excited about the positive response Nickelodeon continues to receive from cable operators in the Caribbean,'' Ms Delgado said.
"We are certain Bermudian kids will identify with Nickelodeon's fresh approach to programming.
"And parents will appreciate the channel's commitment to pro-social, non-violent values,'' she added.
Watched in over 100 countries, Nickelodeon is seen in more than 300 million households worldwide and offers 75 percent first run programming in the region.
Nickelodeon features real children in its programmes and has live-action comedy, pre-school programmes, animation and game shows.
