with their favourite pictures or slogans thanks to a new business which was launched yesterday.

"Picture It'' is a novelty business owned by sisters Mrs. Becky Freeman-Ricciardi, 28, and Mrs. Lori Talbot, 31.

They have invested in high-technology equipment which allows them to reproduce top quality images or slogans on t-shirts, aprons, golf shirts, sweat shirts and mugs in colour and in black and white.

Virtually anything can be transferred, whether it be a favourite poem or a picture of a loved one. Customers could even have their picture superimposed over another.

For example, if you want to be pictured with the Bermuda national soccer team or have your face placed on a pop star's body, no prob lem. It can be done while you wait.

Personal photographs which customers bring in to be reproduced are returned immediately after being photocopied on the sisters' high-definition Canon copying machine.

Prices vary depending on what a customer wants but an adult t-shirt with a print on it costs a maximum of $17.99, which includes the cost of the t-shirt.

A printed baby t-shirt costs $9.95.

Mrs. Freeman-Ricciardi made plans to introduce the novelty business to Bermuda about a year ago after seeing the equipment displayed at a trade show in Atlanta.

"I saw all these people lining up outside a stall and I decided to take a look at what was so interesting to them,'' she said. "I couldn't believe how excited they were about it.'' Added Mrs. Talbot: "We're very excited about this. It's the sort of thing which people can have a lot of fun with and they will make ideal novelty gifts for all occasions.'' The sisters have been allowed to rent space inside the Phoenix Centre, in Hamilton, where they operate from a stall.

They also hope to tap into the corporate market by using their photocopier to copy business documents.
