Stevenson Richardson had been caught driving while disqualified on Glebe Road, Pembroke, on February 6, during a routine Police check.

Prosecuting, Sgt. Rex Osborne said that a previous disqualified driving sentence had meant Richardson, of Band Room Lane, was already off the road until January 30, 1997.

Magistrate the Wor. John Judge fined him $350 and added a year to the existing four year disqualification.

As he left court, Richardson complained that he would not be able to continue making money fixing cars and cycles. But Mr. Judge replied: "There is nothing to stop you working on cars and bikes and testing them, as long as you do not take them on a public road.''
