Lewin finished two-and-a-half points ahead of Brett Wright, while Christian Luthi finished a further one-and-three quarter points behind. Peter Bromby finished a distant fourth after starting the day with promising top three finishes.

Michael Taylor came in only four points behind Bromby, thanks to a good second place finish in the final race. A low turnout was experienced -- just five Lasers -- mostly due to several fleet members participating in the Sunfish World Championships hosted by the Spanish Point Boat Club.
