An article on Marine and Ports proposed new office incorrectly stated that the application had been approved by the Development Applications Board. It should have stated that the application was received by the DAB.
The Development Applications Board has approved plans for improvements to Hamilton Ferry Terminal.
The addition will include a covered walk, a staff lunch room and an office for new ferry supervisor Terry Spence.
Department of Marine and Ports Director Ron Ross said they were attempting to upgrade facilities for staff. And the addition of the new supervisor was aimed at improving service.
