Foursomes Amateur Golf Championships at Ocean View.

Bermuda Golf Association secretary Tom Smith confirmed yesterday that just seven entries had been received for the annual two-day event, and a decision had been taken at a BGA meeting last week to scrap the tournament.

The competition was cancelled last year for the same reason.

Smith said next year the championship would be scheduled over one day only.
