Spice Valley middle School were the two winners in an essay competition jointly sponsored by Internet service provider, Logic Communications, and Microsoft. The competition invited students to write an essay on the topic "Where did you go today?'' The topic was designed to stimulate thought on some of the innovative ways in which students use technology. Entries were judged on originality, wit and creativity. The winning students were each presented with cheques for $1,000 from Logic marketing manager Sabrina Phillips.
