Forty-two-year-old Regina Smith, of Pembroke, was last seen around 12.30 p.m.

on Sunday.

Her family, concerned for her safety, alerted Police who appealed for anyone who had seen her to contact them.

But yesterday Police spokesperson Evelyn James Barnett said thanks to the appeal through the media, Ms Smith had contacted the Hamilton Police Station.

Ms Smith called the station at 8.15 a.m. yesterday to state that she was "fine'' and staying with a friend in Paget.
