Kenny Mills was a double winner with Penny's Rock Road. He won his second heat in 1:12.2, giving him one leg out of the 1:11.1-1:15.1 time bar.

Veteran driver Michael Roberts returned to the track after sitting out virtually all of last season. He had a second and a third with Direct Toy Boy and then triumphed with Ponderbabe.

The veteran mare, owned by William and Paul Ray, won both heats in her season debut.

Nateway, driven by Dal Vasconcelos, turned in an impressive 1:09.2 in winning the first heat of the Junior Free for All, while Jennifer Time, driven by Nick DeCosta, nosed out Nateway in the second heat.

Michael DeCosta's Grand Shady won the first heat of the Free for All with Eddie the Great, driven by Samantha Hayward, second and Brittany Gold with Nick DeCosta third.

In the last race of the day, Eddie the Great led all the way to nose out Grand Shady by two tenths of a second. Brittany Gold was a distant third.
