Hannah bound for McGill U
Bermuda Scholarship. Hannah M. Ellison, of Devonshire, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree at Montreal's McGill University.
She attended BHS from 1992 to 1997. She gained seven grade A's of her nine passes in the General Certificate of Secondary Education/International General Certificate of Secondary Education.
She proceeded to the graduate year programme at Saltus Grammar School in 1997 where she graduated second in her year.
In addition to being a prefect at BHS, Hannah was the school's games captain and a house captain. Hannah has a special interest in the arts, particularly music and singing.
Drama has also become one of her hobbies. Hannah landed the leading female role in the Saltus Grammar School production of "Bugsy Malone''.
Hannah also earned her bronze and silver awards in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and participated as a member of the Young Enterprise Scheme and Young Leo Club.
Sporting activities have also played a role in Hannah's life. She represented BHS at the inter-school level of many sports, including netball, hockey, volleyball and track and field. In particular, Hannah is a team member of Bermuda's under 21 Women's Senior National Team, having represented Bermuda in both Barbados and Venezuela.
