Kevin John Boys, of no fixed address, originally denied the charge. But yesterday in Magistrates' Court Boys admitted destroying a front door, five blinds, five windows and a lawn chair at his parents' Southampton home.

The incident occurred on August 30 after an argument. The court heard Boys violently attacked his mother and used a plastic chair to smash the property.
