Police said the car's owner left her Mazda car for a few minutes outside her brother's Aubrey Estate Road residence in Hamilton Parish.

Seconds later she heard a crash outside and discovered someone had stolen the vehicle and hit a wall.

The thief abandoned the car and ran off, leaving its owner with the damaged vehicle.
