The 36-year-old Pembroke man allegedly broke into the Parliament Street business premises on Tuesday evening, a Police spokesman said.

He was discovered hiding in one of the offices after an employee alerted Police and helped them search the building.

In a separate incident, Police attended a report of a break-in at a South Road, Warwick residence the same day.

The culprit had fled by the time officers arrived on the scene but an accurate description led to the arrest of a 27-year-old Warwick man.
