general meeting will be heard at a special general meeting called for next Thursday night at 6.30 p.m.

The meeting which has been set up after nine affiliates signed a petition calling for it to be held before September 22.

BFA president Neville Tyrrell, who barely survived a challenge by Mark Trott at the AGM, yesterday said that the association had no problems in conforming to the request.

"I can confirm that the meeting is next Thursday and is being called as a result of the nine clubs requesting it,'' he said.

"We are conforming to the request and I am sure that matters of importance will be discussed and that the clubs will be coming with a level-headed position and that things will be finally resolved.'' But Tyrrell declined to name the venue of the meeting.
