a tight battle expected for the overall points title.

Top contenders for the honour are Shamrock Tuxedo, Eddie the Great and Paceway Debutante, all within a single point of each other.

However, Tuxedo appears to have an advantage over the other two, having drawn the rail for Sunday's free-for-all. Eddie the Great will compete in the same time bar, but begins on the outside. Caroline Jubilee completes the field and will start in the middle position.

Debutante, meanwhile, claimed the centre spot in her time bar, sandwiched between Sandtrap on the inside and Bad Boy Tony on the outside.

All will need to go all out for victory in both heats, as any slip could allow the others to seize the title.

Similarly, the prize for the top mare lies in the balance, with Custom Eyes'd and Melody Time the primary contenders. The pair will not face off a against each other though, having been drawn in different heats.

Another feature has top Canadian driver Michael Allard taking the reins of Michael DeCosta's Eyes'd in the race for the mare championship.

Allard has a long list of credentials, as he currently competes on the North American circuit as well as in Canada.

He has the distinction of driving world champion mare Alabam Pace to a world record time of one minute, 4/3 seconds on a quarter-mile track in Quebec, Canada.
