Gay rights campaigners protested when it was announced the concert would be at the National Stadium, pointing to anti-homosexual remarks made by the Jamaican star.

Earlier this week Youth Minister the Hon. Pam Gordon said Government could not break its contract with promoter Mr. Choy Aming allowing him to use the stadium on March 26.

But last night she said the promoter had offered to opt out of the contract and move the show to the BAA field, partly due to the controversy and partly because he could not use the middle of the stadium.
