A sense of adventure
off the school year outside the traditional classroom.
Twenty-eight students spent the day at Paget Island, participating in Outward Bound activities, including canoeing and various rope courses.
"These adventure-based activities build skills in teamwork, cooperation and trust,'' school counsellor Barbara Hollis said.
It was the second year that the school had sent 11-year-olds to the island.
This year's visit coincided with an ocean project the students were working on.
