line for Monday's 14th annual Labour Day five mile road race which gets underway at the Transport Control Department on Parson's Road at 9.00 a.m.

The traditional season opener to the road race campaign, most runners use the event to gauge their own conditioning and to see how much others have prepared themselves for the long, gruelling season.

The event, which will finish outside Liberty Theatre on Union Street outside of the BIU Building, is being organised by Swan's Running Club.
