Second Division round-up:

Port Royal 0 S.Rangers 2 It's now official. Southampton Rangers are the new champions of the Second Division.

Any chance of them being overhauled were eliminated as Rangers dismantled Port Royal at Frog Lane yesterday with goals on either side of the interval.

Neville Grant and Garry Williams provided the fireworks as Royal toiled in vain against superior opponents.

With promotion already achieved, the focus had shifted to winning the division, in which Rangers still have a chance of going through the entire season without dropping a single point.

Rangers have won 13 consecutive league matches, with three remaining. They now stand on 26 points and lead second placed Somerset Eagles by eight points.

Paget 1 Som. Eagles 6 Terrence Christopher scored a second half hat-trick as Eagles swooped over winless Paget at Southampton Oval to remain in second place in the standings.

After Clarkie Riley and Ricardo Simons gave Eagles a 2-0 lead at the half with goals in the 23th and 32nd minutes, Everett Wellman struck the third with the best goal of the game, driving in a shot from 20 yards in the 47th.

Christopher completed a hat-trick with goals in the 62nd, 85th and 87th minutes which took his season's tally to 14. D.Steede scored Paget's lone goal in the 58th minute.

Wolves 2 St. David's 3 Keith Jennings netted twice to take his tally for the season to 13 and O.J.

Minors got the other as St. David's stayed in the promotion hunt with this hard-fought victory at Devonshire Rec.

Minors scored the first St. David's goal as the teams were level at 1-1 at the half and Jennings' two goals -- one from a header and the other a half volley -- in the second half separated the teams after Wolves refused to make it easy for their opponents. Keith Watson got one of the Wolves goals.
