"Interviewers'' could earn about $1,000 over the five-week period if they complete their assigned workload, visiting households to make sure all eligible voters return their forms.

Working hours are expected to be about 10 hours a week, in evening and weekend visits to households. Interviewers will require personal transportation.

Those employed will be trained in mid-February by the Statistical Department.

An accurate count of all eligible voters is required by the Boundaries Commission, which will be meeting in the New Year to decide whether to change constitutional boundaries.

Application forms for the positions are available from the statistical department, Second Floor, Global House, 43 Church Street, Hamilton. The deadline for applications is December 29, 1994.
