Island-wide, all encompassing Career Expo next month.

The Business Education Partnership, BEP, last week announced that the Expo will be held on April 7 at Cedarbridge Academy in Prospect in a bid to raise student awareness of their career options.

Co-chairman of the BEP, Ken Spurling said: "Out target is to attract every student in Bermuda who is wondering about which career to pursue, thinking about a particular career, or looking for more information on a chosen career path.'' The Expo, which will be open from noon to 7 p.m., will feature exhibitions, seminars and one-on-one sessions with members of the Business community.

Education officer and BEP co-chair Janette Musson said this Career Expo would differ from all others.

"The Expos in the past focused on a particular industry,'' she explained.

"Whereas our objective here is to bring as many of the possible careers one could think of.'' Representatives from international business, the media, health and human services and applied technology will attend the event.

Organiser Starla Williams of Meeting Professionals International said the Expo will also boast attractions like food, entertainment and a child care centre.
