Again there was a struggle with the knife hitting one of the residents but not wounding him. The robber fled without any money.

On Saturday, an intruder entered the Newstead Hotel in Paget and stole $200 from a guest's room. The visitor tried to grab the man but he escaped.

A burglar also stole $25 and a cheque for $225 when he got into an apartment in Pearman Hill, Hamilton Parish, through an insecure door.
