$1,300 worth of cannabis with intent to supply this week.

Lynda Ible, of School Lane, originally pleaded guilty on Monday to the offence and to possession of cannabis and to knowingly handling cannabis intended for supply.

But after receiving advice from duty counsel Sonia Grant, Ible changed her pleas to not guilty on the handling and possession with intent to supply charges.

But she maintained her plea of guilty on the simple possession charge and the matter was set down for trial on January 14.

Before Ible changed her pleas, prosecutor Sgt. Phil Taylor read out the evidence in the case.

He said narcotics officers searched Ible's home and found cannabis weighing 6.66 grams concealed in a film canister which Ible said was for her own use.

A block of cannabis weighing 27.7 grams -- with a street value of $1,385 was found in Ible's living room.

Magistrate Cheryl-Ann Mapp released Ible on $2,000 bail with a like surety.
