cannabis to Bermuda has had charges against him dropped.

Malcolm Lewis, 44, of Hamilton Parish, was charged with Michael Pond, 26, of Pembroke and Orion Tuzo and his wife Karen, both of St. George's, with conspiring to import 527 pounds of cannabis, importing cannabis, and possessing the cannabis on March 22.

But after a preliminary inquiry in Magistrates' Court earlier this week Lewis was discharged.

The Tuzos and Pond were ordered to appear for trial in Supreme Court on February 1, 1995.
