Wolves eye win hat-trick

days, Wolves will tonight attempt to make it a hat-trick of victories within a week by beating PHC in a Premier Division clash at Devonshire Rec. tonight (9 p.m.).

However Wolves coach Dennis Brown would do well to remind his team that PHC have improved since Wolves beat them 2-0 in a Martonmere Cup clash at BAA field on September 19.

That game saw Wolves breeze to victory on the back of a pair of second-half goals by fleet-footed Chae Simmons.

But PHC will be inspired by having the opportunity to pay Wolves back for that loss combined with being in position where they can move into sole possession of first place in the table.

They currently hold down second place behind Village. The teams each have six points from two matches but Village have the superior goal difference.

PHC enter the contest coming off an fine 2-0 victory over Dandy Town at Somerset on Sunday, coasting to victory with goals by young full back Damon Francis and Raynel Lightbourne.

Meanwhile Wolves are fresh from a 5-1 thrashing of Rangers on Sunday and a shock 1-0 victory over favourites North Village in Tuesday night's Martonmere Cup semi-final.

In the 7 p.m. First Division clash, Boulevard, relegated last season, will be seeking their first victory in three outings against bottom club St. David's.
