Stewart, who didn't lose a game, faced First Division players Ronnie Thorne and Robert Percy and Graham Redford and Scott Corday of the Second Division.

He also beat Ashton Smith of the Third Division.

Stewart's victory marked the second straight year that a Third Division player has won the tournament. Percy, who had to settle for runner-up spot this year, won the tournament in 1994.

Meanwhile, the last events of the season take place tomorrow with the Grand League final and President's Cup at National Sports Club beginning at 8.30 p.m. Teams competing are division winners Flanagans II, Vasco I and Sandys Boat Club and Division Three runners-up Vasco II.

Registration is currently taking place for the Summer Super League and anyone wishing to enter a team should contact Liz Simons at 292-4519. Any winners from last year who still have trophies should return them as soon as possible.
