Ronald Cowen then broke the boys 15-18 mark in the 200m IM in 2:22.11, knocking over a second off the Bermuda record set by Ian Raynor in 1990.
The boys 15-17 4x200m relay team of Cowen, Matthew Hammond, Trevor Nelson and Troake qualified for the finals in the morning heats and Alicia Mullan also came through her heat in the 18-21 400m freestyle.
