A Police spokesperson said the fight, which occurred at her Fort Hill home, turned violent and the woman was taken to hospital.

"She received eight stitches to each of her three cuts,'' the spokesperson said.

The woman's 30-year-old boyfriend of Warwick was arrested and later bailed while inquiries continue.
