In a busy week on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX), there were almost as many minuses as pluses, with no fewer than 10 companies registering share movements last week.

Watlington Waterworks Ltd. were the biggest gainers, increasing their stock by $2 per share (15.38 percent) to finish on $15.

Argus Group Holdings Ltd. (91 cent rise), BF&M Ltd. (75 cents), Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. (25 cents) and Mediahouse Ltd. (25 cents) were the main players, while Bermuda Press (Holdings) ltd. (-$1), Devonshire Industries Ltd. (-60 cents) and BELCO Holdings Ltd. (-50 cents) suffered the biggest decreases.

As a whole, the Index closed down 8.692 points (0.17 percent) at 5,078.42, as 159,715 shares worth $2,874,240 changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index, meanwhile closed at 1,306.15.
