NYSE to delist Scottish Re shares

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Shares of Bermuda-based Scottish Re, a life reinsurer that has struggled with a string of losses and credit rating downgrades, will be delisted from trading on the New York Stock Exchange as of Friday, according to a statement issued by the Big Board.

NYSE Regulation said it was removing Scottish Re after its stock fell to trading below $1 over a 30-day period, as required by its listing regulations.
