Breaking news: Rain stops play in Bermuda-Namibia match

Bermuda go into the third day of their InterContinental Cup match against Namibia on 90-1 after rain prevented any further play after tea today.

Earlier, Oronde Bascome became the only Bermuda batsman to fall as he was out lbw to Kola Burger right after the lunch break having failed to move his score on from 25.

But Jekon Edness and Chris Douglas prevented a breakthrough, with wicketkeeper Edness moving on to 36 and Douglas, one of the few bright spots in Bermuda's recent triangular series with Canada and the West Indies, on 14 not out.

Earlier, spinner Dwayne Leverock closed out the Namibian innings after the southern African team added 40 runs to their overnight total of 280-9, when he had Sarel Burger (86) out caught to Lionel Cann. Louis Klazinga scored 30 not out having shared a 56-run last wicket partnership with Burger.

First inning scores:

Namibia 320 all out

Bermuda 90-1
