Sea Breeze Oval will play host to the inaugural Terry Burgess 40-over Testimonial match between Bermuda Masters and Bailey's Bay Cricket Club on Saturday.
The late fast bowler who represented his beloved Bay and Bermuda at the national level died two years ago after a bout with cancer.
Donations will be collected during this weekend's testimonial contest, which organisers hope will become an annual event.
"Chris Smith (former Bay opening batsman) invited us to play for this worthy cause and we accepted," commented Bermuda Masters manager warrington (Soup) Zuill.
"He's the real brainchild behind this whole thing which hopefully will be played on an annual basis."
Saturday's match, featuring both past and present cricketers, begins at 1 p.m.
