Corrections, December 19, 2

An article that appeared in the December 14 Lifestyles section of the Royal Gazette incorrectly identified The Bermuda Anthology of Poetry as being the “brainchild” of Folklife Officer Dr. Kim Dismont Robinson.

Dr. Robinson took the lead on the project and attended to several details, but the original idea for the poetry anthology came from the Hon. Dale Butler, Minister of Social Rehabilitation, who was previously Minister of Community Affairs & Sport.

Minister Butler also made several of the editorial decisions and provided recommendations, suggestions and assistance based on his extensive experience with publishing.

Minister Butler, during his service as the Minister of Community Affairs and Sport, spearheaded the anthology, established a poet’s registry, and delivered a mandate that the Department of Community & Cultural Affairs should work towards producing three publications per year.

The Department of Community & Cultural Affairs is very grateful for Minister’s Butler’s many contributions.***In the December 12 edition of Body & Soul the contact number for Lynn Hunt should have been listed as 799-4868 and her website address as www.energylynn.com.
