Wrote his first book, “The Invisible Wall,” at the age of 93 and is finishing his second book.

Family: Wife, Ruby, died in 2002; Bernstein has two children, Adraenne and Charles>

Book: “The Invisible Wall” is about Bernstein’s life growing up in a northern England mill town. His street was divided into Jews on one side and Christians on the other. Both sides were desperately poor but separated by religious animosity.
