The ACE Foundation Careers Initiative
In 2005, The ACE Foundation launched the Career Paths Initiative in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Sport and Recreation.
One of the key components of the Careers Initiative has been the Career Fair, first held at the Bermuda College in April, 2005.
The Career Fair has attracted attention from both the business community and educators.
Last year some 3,000 students from both public and private schools attended the fair.
One unique feature each year has been presentations from internationally known speakers.
Last year, Dr. Mae Jemison, the first African American female to travel into space, was the key note speaker at the launch of the Fair.
This year the Career Fair Task Force will have three presenters at the launch, which will take place today at the Bermuda Institute Auditorium in Southampton (please see the back page of this Supplement).
Seats are available by ticket only. Tickets are free and can be reserved by calling 295-5200.
We hope that you will bring your children to see three great motivational presentations.
