United Bermuda Party chairman Jeff Sousa has stepped down to run as an election candidate.

Mr. Sousa is now hoping to become the party's adopted candidate for Constitutency 28, Warwick West.

UBP leader Kim Swan announced the move in a press release this evening.

A new party chairman is expected to be drawn from the members of the party's central executive and announced shortly.
