Breaking News: Shooting victim was deliberately targeted - Police
Detectives believe that a 34-year-old man shot dead last night was deliberately targeted.
At a press conference today Chief Inspector Nicholas Pedro said Perry Mosley Puckerin, from Pembroke, was in the bar of the Hamilton Parish Workingmen’s Club when he was shot at 9.30 p.m.
Officers said that between ten and 12 patrons were drinking in the bar at closing time when the assailant entered and took aim. Witnesses described hearing two or three shots.
Chf. Insp. Pedro, the senior investigating officer, said: “A team of detectives are treating this matter as murder and are investigating as such.”
He added: “This is another case where a man has been shot dead in the prime of his life and we are asking the public to come forward and assist us in our inquiries.” He added that Police had not ruled out that the shooting was gang related.
