Students to attend course in US

Five youngsters from the Institute for Talented Students (ITS) have been awarded scholarships to attend a three-week residential course at Johns Hopkins University. The five will share $12,500 to study at the university's Centre for Talented Youth. ITS founder and executive director Riquette Bonne-Smith said: "We have worked hard in the foundation year of ITS in Bermuda."
She thanked the Ministry of Education, XL Capital Foundation, ACE Foundation, Bank of Bermuda Foundation, Allied World Insurance and Sir John Swan for support and sponsorship.
