Skipper Jermaine Outerbridge stroked 65 while Kearon Trott took three wickets for 28 runs as Bailey?s Bay defeated visiting Somerset by four wickets at Sea Breeze Oval yesterday.

In search of their winning target of 139, Bay encountered a few problems, losing early wickets at four and 10 before skipper Outerbridge stood up to the Somerset attack.

His steady batting combined with useful stands with David Lovell (23 not out) and Roderick Master (13) enabled Bay to eventually coast to victory.

Jacobi Robinson was the best bowler for the visitors with three wickets for 36 runs.

Kearon Trott was largely responsible for the modest score posted by Somerset, claiming his haul off 8.5 overs while Rodney Trott grabbed two for 30 off 10 overs.

Shane Hollis was high man for Somerset with an undefeated 30 while Robinson followed on 26 and skipper Reid Jones and Dwight Basden hit 15 apiece.
