Dear Sir,

I've been listening to the radio talk shows and reading the newspaper pertaining to the BHC, to know that there is a lot of things that are alledged to have taken place with some contractors working for them. If these things are found to be true,the persons should be dealt with accordingly. My take on the whole thing is as voters we should wait until the jury is in.

People are asking for the Premier to step down or they will not vote on the next election, has anyone heard of a small town called Rosewood I think it was in Florida, I'll try to make the story short. A woman was having an affair with a white man, everyone in the town knew about it even the husband had a clue of what was happening, he came home one day and heard someone running from his back door, he asked his wife who was running because he found her half dressed and upset. She said a black man broke in their home and raped her, this lie went through the town and outraged all the white men in it. After the town was brought to the ground and most of the black men were beaten or hung the truth came out but it was too late to stop all the anger and pain that was a result of her lie.

I say all this to say, we have to be very careful what we choose to believe there is a pending election, and I believe the heat will be turned up by a lot of people that don't want to see the PLP back as government. As voters we need to remember this and pick the bones out of what we are being fed through the media.

We need to look at were the information is coming from and use common sense when deciding if we should believe it or not. We don't want to make Bermuda another Rosewood, some people will know the truth, but for a liar to get what they want and they don't care what it takes to get it.
