Bermuda Day festivities were marred for a theft victim ? who had his tent stolen from Bernard Park, Pembroke.

Police said the complainant rented out several tents for Wednesday?s public holiday. He only noticed one was missing when he went to the park to take them down at 11.30 p.m.

The heavy duty tent is white, custom made and measures 12 by 20 inches.

Meanwhile, Police yesterday thanked the public for a ?relatively quiet? Bermuda Day.

No major incidents were reported, a spokesman said.
